For Teachers!
We are collecting Teaching Resources, including lesson plans, links to useful information for field trip planning, coloring sheets, and more.  Visit the Beacon often for help in setting up your class’s field trip.  And let us know if you have lesson plans or other resources to share.

Recipe Collection:
We are collecting recipes from family and friends for posting here in the Beacon.  We’d especially like to have recipes that use vegetables grown here on the farm — carrots, onions, cabbage, corn, pumpkins, and squash.  Send them to recipes@BlackIslandFarms.com and we will post our favorites.

Farm Photos:
Get details of our Photo of the Week contest and send us your funniest or most charming pictures (or small video clips) of your farm visit. We will post as many as we can on our site here in the Beacon and our contest winners will be decorated with blue ribbons!

Special Events:
