Students explore a corn maze, visit the pumpkin patch by hayride, learn how crops grow, and spend time playing in the courtyard.
Designed for school groups
Each visit combines active play with a hands-on introduction to the crops grown at Black Island Farms. Every child chooses a pumpkin to take home.
September’s early-bird rate is $5.50 per person. October visits are $6 per person. Rates include parents and teachers.
What’s included

Each student receives a pass for one free return visit to the corn maze.
The Grain Chute Slide is not available during field trips.
Planning the day
Trips run Wednesday through Friday, with hourly starts from 9:30am through 12:30pm.
Share your student count, age range, preferred dates, and the best way to reach you.
Availability is limited. The farm team will confirm your date and arrival details directly.
Homeschool teachers must provide a verification letter confirming they are a qualified homeschool to receive the field-trip rate.
Field trips aren’t scheduled during UEA/Fall Break because the farm is open to the general public during extended hours.
Group visits
Organized groups of 15 or more can request group pricing Monday–Thursday from 4–9pm. Weekend rates are available for groups of 100+, and birthday groups are welcome too.
Reserve at least 36 hours in advance. Group discounts aren’t available during UEA/Fall Break.
Add Nightmare Acres to an eligible group visit for $14 per person.
